NEAHMA MEMBERSHIP

NEAHMA Membership is one year from January-December with renewals in early December.

OUR MISSION is to facilitate communication between management agents and local HUD and state housing finance agencies, to provide quality training and education on regulatory, legal, legislative and management related topics and to promote quality affordable housing.

OBJECTIVES

  • To promptly inform members of legislative/regulatory changes
  • To act as a key source of information for our members
  • To promote a standard of excellence in the management of affordable housing
  • To provide opportunities for educational courses and up to the minute training on industry developments
  • To build and maintain relationships with our regulatory partners

NEAHMA’s membership consists of owners and management agents who represent over 65,000 units of affordable housing throughout New England complimented by a strong contingent of associate vendor members.

Membership meetings include a period devoted to training and education as well as current housing updates provided by agency representatives. Members have an on-going opportunity to attend NEAHMA sponsored educational sessions relevant to affordable housing.

All training and educational workshops qualify for credits toward the National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) designation and are HUD approved project expenses.
