Budget-Based Rent Increase submissions are often delayed or denied due to the Owner submitting an incomplete package.

In this course you will learn what, when and how to submit your package, how to respond to follow-up questions and requests from HUD, and when and how you can appeal a denial or partial denial of your request.

The course is applicable:

• Section 8 projects who have been renewed under Options 2 and 4, or 3 Lite and some Option 5 projects.
• 202 PACs, 202 PRACs, 811 PRACs
• HUD-insured projects where a budget is usually the only way to obtain a rent increase.
