SUMMARY:Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO™) In-Person
DESCRIPTION:Trainer:  Debbie Piltch \nRegister Here \n\n\nThe Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) course is a comprehensive program offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) for property management staff in affordable developments\, including LIHTC. It is the only occupancy course that covers the HUD 4350.3 Handbook in its entirety\, with specific handbook references cited in the margins of the course text. \nThe two and a half day program is composed of occupancy focused instruction. Participants will receive a voucher from their hosting AHMA to take the CPO exam independently on their own at their home office\, or property. Students that successfully pass the exam will receive a CPO certificate and lapel pin. All CPOs will be listed in an online national certification directory. The CPO is a requirement for NAHMA’s National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP®) certification program. \nIt is recommended that course attendees have a basic knowledge of the HUD 4350.3 Rev – 1 (change 4) Handbook prior to registration.  \nPlease have a calculator\, highlighters and post it notes on hand. \n\n\n$849 NEAHMA Members \n$999 Non-Members

While yes\, curb appeal is very important\, what is happening today may not necessarily be “Green” for the future. There are many things to consider when designing and maintaining a green exterior landscaping plan. This module will touch-upon the most important tasks. \nLearning outcomes: \n\nApply sustainable landscape planning guidelines to both existing and new greenspace to facilitate water resource conservation and ecological impacts.\nUse native plantings for appropriate planting zone to minimize watering\, mowing and weed/pest control applications.\nIncorporate the newly developed/amended landscape plan into the Green O&M plan.\nResearch and evaluate what products\, systems and/or processes can be planned for and implemented at a future date that will further complement the existing landscaping program\, thus ensuring continued improvement and in support of the objectives of the green O&M plan.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n$129 NEAHMA Members \n$209 Non Members
