DESCRIPTION:Trainer:  Deb Piltch  \nRegister Here \nManagement and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) are occurring during COVID in locations where there are no restrictions by state or local law or ordinance to prevent them. In this training we will discuss HUD’s Guidance on MORs during COVID\, and what Contract Administrators will be looking for during the MOR. We will also discuss how to prepare yourself and your resident files\, policies\, procedures and management practices for compliance with HUD’s rules and regulations given the barriers COVID presents. \nDiscussion will include virtual processes being used to conduct the MORs\, such as in Massachusetts via the use of file and EIV information being uploaded to secure mailgate portals. \n$359 NEAHMA Members \n$509 Non Members

DESCRIPTION:Trainer:  Deb Piltch  \nRegister Here  \nThe Fair Housing Compliance (FHC) course is a comprehensive program offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) for property management staff. NAHMA’s Fair Housing Compliance course trains management staff to understand complex fair housing regulations. Each participant will receive a copy of the NAHMA Fair Housing manual. The one-day program is composed of one day of instruction with a review and a two-hour exam. Individuals must pass this exam to obtain the FHC designation. The FHC is a requirement for NAHMA’s National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) certification program. All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a FHC certificate and pin\, and be listed in NAHMA’s Online Credential Directory.
