We invite you to nominate a member of your company, who has earned the prestigious National Affordable Housing Professional designation, as the 2011 NAHP of the Year. This competition will recognize an outstanding NAHP-Executive as well as an outstanding NAHP-Professional. The winners will be recognized at the annual conference held on October 20, 2011. The winner of each category will receive $250.
This is an exciting opportunity for your peers to receive recognition by the industry. You may nominate both a NAHP-Executive and a NAHP-Professional from your staff. Attached please find an entry form. Please present each candidate using words or graphics to describe why he/she is an outstanding NAHP. Please limit your entry to a maximum of three pages. Please keep in mind the characteristics of a NAHP when you are describing your candidate(s).
“A NAHP-Executive is an individual, who owns, operates, manages, or assists in the management of affordable housing and who, through completion of strict NAHP requirements, has met the highest possible industry standards.
“A NAHP-Professional has demonstrated comprehensive property or asset management skills along with a detailed knowledge of government programs; regulations and procedures as they are applied to assisted housing.
“Most importantly, a NAHP, through his/her commitment to the NAHP Code of Ethics, is dedicated to providing safe and decent housing to all eligible residents and is dedicated to Communities of Quality.
